Floodplain Map
EFFECTIVE APRIL 19, 2021
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) recently approved a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) which affects properties in the vicinity of South Scappoose Creek from approximately 955 feet upstream of NW EJ Smith Rd to approximately 2,200 feet upstream of EM Watts Rd.
This LOMR will revise the Flood Insurance Study (FIS) report and the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) map, and the revisions will become effective April 19, 2021.
For more information related to this LOMR Case No. 21-10-0251P and to view updated mapping please see below attachment or visit;
https:// www.floodmaps.fema.gov/fhm/bfe_status/bfe_main.asp.
Additionally, interested citizens may contact the Community Development Center at 503-543-7184 or email City Planner, Laurie Oliver Joseph, at loliver@cityofscappoose.org to understand how this revision may affect your property or to request copies of the revised FIS and NFIP floodplain maps.
The floodplain maps (small and large) attached below do NOT yet reflect the new FEMA (LOMR) changes.
If you wish to print these maps then select "large scale" maps to print 36" x 48", otherwise select "Small Format".
