January 12th, 2021 -- Updated Covid-19 vaccination policy and other news
Columbia County remains in the Extreme Risk category for Covid-19 spread. Cases are projected to continue to rise.
With the federal government projected to release most of its stockpiled vaccine, Oregon has added new groups to the 1a vaccine group (the first group in Oregon to receive the vaccine). Additions include anyone 65 and older, early learning and K-12 educators and staff, and child care providers. The change will take effect around January 23rd.
