Pool Fund Information

• Bob Casswell Pool Fund - Privately held fund created in the 1970's through donations and fundraising. 
  Current Balance: $33,948.30
   
• Swim Council Pool Fund - Privately held fund created in conjunction with the Swim Council. 
  Current Balance: $14,382.33
   
• City of Scappoose Pool Fund - Created in 1999 with General Fund money. 
  Current Balance: $8,852.89

In 2012, the Bob Casswell Pool Fund and the Swim Council Pool Fund were transferred to the City of Scappoose by order of the Oregon Department of Justice.

The City has held the transferred funds (Bob Casswell Pool Fund and Swim Council Pool Fund) in a standalone money market account since 2012. No expenditures by the City have been made from either of these Funds.

The expenditure for the Grabhorn Property was made exclusively from the City of Scappoose Pool Fund in the Spring of 2020.
