Building Inspections

ALL BUILDING PERMIT INSPECTIONS MUST BE SCHEDULED VIA OREGON E-PERMIT.

The Scappoose Building Department is available for Building Permit inspections;  Monday through Friday between 8am-4:30pm.  We also offer inspections outside of normal business hours, although it will require a special inspection fee.

 24-hr notice required for all Residential Permit Inspections.                                                                                       48-hr. notice required for all Commercial Permit Inspections.

On your permit form go to the section "Schedule Inspection"; it will list the multiple ways you can schedule inspections which are also listed below;

• Use the e-permit website to "schedule";  https://aca-oregon.accela.com/oregon/
• Call the e-permit Inspection Request Line 1-888-299-2821 (also listed on your e-permit); be sure to have your "IVR" number listed on your permit. 
• Go to the Oregon e-permit website to schedule (it will need the address or permit#);   https://aca-oregon.accela.com/oregon/Default.aspx
• Contractors can also download the inspector app (app link is on the website).

PERMIT NUMBERS;

If you don't know your permit number, go to the e-permit website (link above) to search by the address.

ALL City of Scappoose permits will begin with 759.  If you have a permit issued prior to June 2018 then your old permit number will NOW begin with a 759 prefix. For example; our previous permit format was "0618-0001" this would now be 759-0618-0001.  The new e-permit format; 759-## (2 digit year)-###### (6 digit sequential number)-ABC (3 letter permit type).
