Wastewater Treatment

The Wastewater Treatment Division provides operation, maintenance, and permit compliance support for the treatment facility, five pump stations, and approximately 40 miles of sewer pipe. In 2015, over 275 million gallons of wastewater was pumped and treated. The highest standards for treatment are maintained and the treated wastewater is then returned to the environment via the Multnomah Channel.

If you have a question about Scappoose’s Wastewater Treatment Division and are unable to find the answer here on our website, please contact the Treatment Plant Supervisor, Kevin Turner, at 503-543-7183 or kturner@scappoose.gov.
